Senate leaders want more in stimulus package

1. H.CON.RES.282 : Providing for a joint session of Congress to receive a message from the President.

2. H.R.3432 : A bill to establish the Commission on the Abolition of the Transatlantic Slave Trade.

3. H.R.3873 : To expedite the transfer of ownership of rural multifamily housing projects with loans made or insured under section 515 of the Housing Act of 1949 so that such projects are rehabilitated and preserved for use for affordable housing.

4. H.R.3959 : To amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to provide for the phase-in of actuarial rates for certain pre-FIRM properties.

5. H.R.3971 : To encourage States to report to the Attorney General certain information regarding the deaths of individuals in the custody of law enforcement agencies, and for other purposes.

6. H.R.3992 : To amend title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to provide grants for the improved mental health treatment and services provided to offenders with mental illnesses, and for other purposes.

H.R.4986 : To provide for the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, as previously enrolled, with certain modifications to address the foreign sovereign immunities provisions of title 28, United States Code, with respect to the attachment of property in certain judgements against Iraq, the lapse of statutory authorities for the payment of bonuses, special pays, and similar benefits for members of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.

8. S.CON.RES.63 : A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of the Congress regarding the need for additional research into the chronic neurological condition hydrocephalus, and for other purposes.

9. S.RES.425 : A resolution making minority party appointments for the 110th Congress.

10. S.1145 : A bill to amend title 35, United States Code, to provide for patent reform.

11. S.1843 : A bill to amend title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 to clarify that an unlawful practice occurs each time compensation is paid pursuant to a discriminatory compensation decision or other practice, and for other purposes.

S.2553 : A bill to modify certain fees applicable under the Small Business Act for 2008, to make an emergency appropriation for certain small business programs, and to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide increased expensing for 2008, to provide a 5-year carryback for certain net operating losses, and for other purposes.

16. S.2554 : A bill to restore, reaffirm, and reconcile legal rights and remedies under civil rights statutes.

17. S.2555 : A bill to permit California and other States to effectively control greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles, and for other purposes.

18. S.2556 : A bill to extend the provisions of the Protect America Act of 2007 for an additional 30 days.
